Nursery Curriculum Map- Autumn 1
Week 3 in Nursery
We have had a fun and busy week in Nursery. This week we have been learning all about different families and talking about who is in our family. We created a family portrait for our class display. We have also been learning about our emotions. This week we have been focusing on happy. We talked about what makes us feel happy!

In maths, our colour of the week is blue, our shape of the week is a triangle and our song of the week is 5 Little Ducks. We have also been sorting and matching 2D shapes. The children have enjoyed exploring with the different musical instruments as well as playing inside and outside with their friends. We have also been focusing on UP movements in the tuff tray.

Well done Nursery for a fantastic week!

 
Week 2 in Nursery
This week we have enjoyed exploring in our Nursery environment both indoors and outdoors. We have also continued to learn about our school rules and routines. In maths, our colour of the week is red and our shape of the week is a circle. We have been finding lots of different red items and circle items in our classroom. We have also been sorting Mrs Cook’s socks into pairs. We have been learning all about ourselves and the similarities and difference between our friends in Nursery. We looked in the mirror at ourselves and described our features. We then created our self-portrait for our class display. We went on a listening walk around our school with Mrs Goodall. We used our listening ears to hear the different sounds.

Week 1 in Nursery
 We have had a fantastic first week in Nursery. The children have settled very well and they have enjoyed exploring all of the different areas of the Nursery environment.
